2024 Memorial Day Ceremony
The American Legion Post 6 and its Auxiliary heartily welcomes members of the VFW, DAV, and the general public, to participate in the 2024 Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at Grand Forks Memorial Park Cemetery North, Monday, 27 May, 0930 - 1015. This year is especially significant as we dedicate it to those who lost their lives 80 years ago on the beaches of Utah and Omaha on 6 June 1944. Our Ceremony Keynote Speaker will be the 319th Reconnaissance Wing Commander, Colonel Timothy Monroe. Special THANKS to the community of Grand Forks for their continued and great support in this remembrance. We are also hoping for some great weather as we had last year; but just in case, for Plan B the Ceremony will be held at the Grand Forks County Office Bldg on the first floor entry at 0930.
